The short version: Invertica is a simple tap-to-play game. We collect minimal data, we do not sell your personal information to anyone, and your high scores are stored locally on your device.

01 Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Invertica ("we", "us", "our") handles information in connection with the Invertica mobile game application ("App"). We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

02 Data We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate and improve the game.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any sensitive personal information.

03 How We Use Your Data

Any data we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Saving your game progress and high scores on your device
  • Remembering your in-app preferences (sound on/off, etc.)
  • Diagnosing and fixing crashes or bugs in the App
  • Measuring general app performance and stability
  • Improving the gameplay experience in future updates

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond what is listed above.

04 Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share limited, anonymised data with:

  • Crash reporting services (e.g. Firebase Crashlytics) — to identify and fix technical issues. This data is anonymised and cannot identify you personally.
  • Platform providers (Google Play / Apple App Store) — as required for distribution and in accordance with their respective privacy policies.
  • Legal authorities — only if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

05 Data Storage & Retention

Your game progress and settings are stored locally on your device using Flutter's shared preferences storage. This data is removed when you uninstall the App.

Anonymous crash logs held by third-party services are retained for a maximum of 90 days, after which they are automatically deleted.

We do not maintain any servers that store personally identifiable information about you.

06 Children's Privacy

Invertica is suitable for players aged 4 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Because the App stores all game data locally on the device and does not require account creation, children can safely play without submitting personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately at privacy@invertica.app.

The App complies with applicable children's privacy laws including COPPA (USA) and POPIA (South Africa).

07 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your data:

Access

Request a copy of any personal data we hold about you.

Deletion

Request that we delete any personal data. Game data can be removed by uninstalling the App.

Correction

Request correction of any inaccurate data we may hold.

Objection

Object to the processing of your data in certain circumstances.

Portability

Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Withdraw Consent

Withdraw consent for optional analytics at any time via App settings.

09 Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited data we process. Because your game data is stored locally on your device, its security also depends on the security of your device itself.

No method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10 Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by posting a notice within the App.

Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
