01 Acceptance of Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Invertica mobile application ("App", "Game", "Service") developed and published by Invertica ("we", "us", "our").
By downloading, installing, or using the App in any way, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
02 License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment purposes on a compatible mobile device that you own or control.
You may not:
- Copy, modify, or distribute the App or any portion of it
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
- Rent, lease, loan, sell, or sublicense the App
- Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices within the App
- Use the App for any commercial purpose without our written consent
03 Eligibility
Invertica is intended for users aged 4 and above. By using the App, you represent that you meet any applicable age requirements in your jurisdiction. If you are under 13 years of age, you must have verifiable parental or guardian consent.
We reserve the right to restrict access in jurisdictions where the App is not permitted by law.
04 User Conduct
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- Use cheats, exploits, hacks, or unauthorised third-party software that modifies the gameplay or scoring
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App's backend systems
- Interfere with other users' enjoyment of the App
- Submit false or misleading information
- Use the App in any way that could damage, disable, or impair our servers
05 Intellectual Property
All content within the App — including but not limited to game design, artwork, graphics, sounds, animations, code, logos, and the "Invertica" name — is owned by or licensed to us and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or brand features without our prior written consent.
06 Scores, Progress & Data
Your high scores and game progress may be stored locally on your device. We do not guarantee the preservation of this data across device changes, app reinstalls, or operating system updates.
We reserve the right to reset leaderboards, modify scoring mechanics, or discontinue leaderboard features at any time without notice.
07 In-App Purchases
The App is free to download and play. Any optional in-app purchases (such as cosmetic items or unlock packs) are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law or the relevant platform policy (Google Play / Apple App Store).
All purchases are processed through the respective platform store. We are not responsible for payment processing errors or disputes that must be resolved with the platform provider.
08 Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from harmful components. Your use of the App is entirely at your own risk.
09 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or R100 (ZAR), whichever is greater.
10 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it from your device.
11 Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice within the App or on our website, and by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
Your continued use of the App following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
12 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.
